Job summary

Sanabil Studio is seeking a Head of Data & Credit Analytics for TradePay in Riyadh to build and lead the decision science, fraud, and portfolio analytics function from the ground up. You will own underwriting, pricing, and risk models across the merchant network, embedding real-time decisioning with Product and Engineering, and growing a high-impact analytics team.

Fluent Arabic and English, 6+ years in data science or fintech analytics, 2+ years in leadership, and hands-on SQL/Python are

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science, credit analytics, decisioning, or fintech analytics, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role.
• Hands-on technical with strong SQL and Python skills.
• Built underwriting, fraud, or risk models in fintech, BNPL, SME lending, merchant acquiring, or payments.
• Worked with alternative or behavioural data models.
• Strong grasp of portfolio analytics, repayment behavior, utilisation analysis, and risk segmentation.
• Built dashboards and analytical reporting frameworks from scratch.
• Able to operate in ambiguity and build systems from zero in an early-stage environment.
• Excellent communication, translating analytics into business insights.
• Builder mentality with ownership and execution bias.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Build and own TradePay's underwriting, fraud detection, and portfolio analytics engine.
• Develop algorithms for credit limits, utilization, pricing, and repayment segmentation.
• Design experiments to improve approval rates, utilization, and portfolio health.
• Create dashboards and reporting frameworks for executives and operations.
• Define data pipelines, data quality standards, and governance.
