Job summary

Metso Corporation in Riyadh is seeking a Grinding Technical Sales Support Expert to join the Middle East Technical Sales Support team. You will work with tier 2 support to deploy product information, best practices, sales trainings and value argumentation, while collaborating with the sales team on campaigns and opportunities.

The role involves approximately 60% travel to customer sites across the Middle East and requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 7–10 years in technical support

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree required, 7–10 years in technical support, field services or grinding equipment maintenance.
• Experience implementing strategies to grow business and direct sales.
• Solid understanding of grinding equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with Metso/Non-Metso grinding mills preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically in the Middle East and internationally when needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Basic familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and AI.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead sales for Grinding products in the Middle East region.
• Visit customer sites with service and sales teams for inspections and solution recommendations.
• Prepare sketches and gather technical information on new items, including competitive equipment.
• Assist in product group-level sales funnel generation and quotation data accuracy.
• Support Field Service in commissioning, troubleshooting, and spare parts planning.
• Develop value propositions, upgrade and modification win plans for solutions.
• Ensure timely progression from lead to proposal and negotiations.
• Ensure profitability and adherence to QEHS rules and procedures.

Grinding Technical Sales Support

Introduction

We are looking for a Grinding Technical Sales Support Expert to join our Middle East Technical Sales Support team. In this role, you will work closely with the tier 2 technical sales support to deploy new product information, best practices, sales trainings and technology specific value argumentation, additionally you will be working with the sales team to build campaigns, opportunity funnels, priorities and solutions.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This role includes approximately 60% travel to customer sites across Middle East.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for supporting and/or leading sales for the Grinding products withinthe Middle East.
• Visit customer’s site with service & sales team for inspection of grinding equipment, identify the improvement /modification required area, collect information from customer, discuss with customer to adopt recommended solution.
• Prepared sketch, collect technical information of new items, mainly in the parts of competition equipment.
• Support in Product Grouplevel sales funnel generation,ensuringquotation process data for specific cases is appropriate.
• Support to Field Service team in commissioning, trouble shooting, preparing recommended spares list etc.
• Responsible for value argumentation, value proposition and win plans for the upgrade & mods. solutions.
• Ensure timely progress of sales cases, from lead to proposal and negotiations.
• Ensure profitability of sales cases and the business segment.
• Ensure compliance with the sales process, proposal and risk management procedures.
• Collect Customer and Competitor information.
• Support the warranty process, inspection report reviews,recommendations, and solution definitions.
• Escalate issues, as required, to the Business Area Tier 2 Technical Sales Support Team.
• Ensure that Account Managers have adequate training and support to sell their products.
• Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of MetsoOutotecand theCustomers.

What you’ll bring

• Mechanical Engineering degree with 7 – 10 years of experience in Technical support / field services /maintenance of Grinding equipment.
• Experience in implementing strategies and business direction to grow business.
• Understanding of different grinding equipment and processes.
• Experience in Metso/Non-Metso Griding Mills.
• Ready to travel to customer sites in Middle East & abroad as and when required
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of SAP, Salesforce and AI.
