A global engineering firm seeks a Graduate Chemical/Process Engineer in Saudi Arabia. You will undergo a 3-month training in the UK and two weeks in Norway, developing technical skills. The role involves supporting engineering projects, conducting laboratory studies, and providing technical support to clients. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, have strong communication abilities, and hold a degree in chemical/process engineering. Opportunities for global travel and extensive learning are included.
The graduate chemical/process engineer will be part of the engineering team in KSA and will work closely with the process team based in our MENA office. Your journey will start with a 3‑month onsite training program at our state‑of‑the‑art testing facility in Flotta (UK) and a two‑week stint at the NOV Process Systems HQ offices in Oslo (Norway). This will require an eagerness to learn and showcase your ability to develop technical skills. Once initial training is completed you will be part of the engineering team in KSA and will work closely with the process team in MENA. Your tasks will take place onshore and offshore globally and may involve extensive travel.
You will be involved with projects in our mobile testing facility, where you will take part in the construction, installation, operation and removal of process equipment. You will also undertake laboratory analysis, studies and experiments. Training will be provided, emphasizing the need for an individual with keen learning capabilities. Key to this role will be your attention to detail, communication skills, both spoken and written, and the ability to work effectively with other team members. An appreciation of the commercial implications of engineering and chemistry decision‑making, with a keen focus on delivery and a proactive approach throughout projects, is critical to your success in this role. You will be keen to take on fresh challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills and expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of projects and training.
Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and department/area work instructions. Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area.
Participate in training where required or as approved for job role development.
Carry out all duties safely and in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy, Employee Handbook, procedures, training and instruction. Be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
