Job summary

Hitachi Rail is expanding its Legal, Contracts & Compliance team in Saudi Arabia to support major railway signaling projects. The Contract Manager will oversee full lifecycle contractual activities, safeguarding commercial interests, ensuring compliance, and managing claims and variations for large-scale infrastructure programs.

The role requires leadership across legal, finance, procurement, and project management, with a focus on risk mitigation, governance, and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management for railway signaling EPC contracts from award to close-out.
• Ensure compliance with terms, policies, and legal frameworks throughout projects.
• Provide commercial guidance to project leadership and engineering teams.
• Identify and manage contractual risks with mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contract variations, change orders, and claims process.
• Support dispute resolution and settlement negotiations with clients and partners.
