Job summary

Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) seeks a senior project leader to oversee end-to-end development projects under the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Program (KAAP) in health and education sectors. The role involves identifying suitable projects, signing MoUs with governments, mobilizing resources, and supervising implementation for timely completion.

The incumbent will coordinate with KAAP and IsDB leadership, prepare project charters, manage tenders, and ensure smooth handover to beneficiaries,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in end-to-end project implementation, preferably in a multi-lateral sector.
Languages: English and Arabic mandatory; French preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development projects under KAAP in target countries.
Identify development projects and draft MoUs with authorities/governments.
Mobilize resources, supervise implementation, and ensure timely project handover.
Prepare project charters, approve plans, and manage tender processes.
Coach and mentor junior staff within the KAAP Unit.
