Job summary

Alqotr seeks a qualified professional to ensure the effective implementation of a laboratory Quality Management System in line with ISO/IEC 17025. You will verify the quality and accuracy of laboratory and field testing, monitor personnel competency, and ensure compliance with SAAC requirements to obtain and maintain accreditation.

The role includes audits, nonconformity handling, reporting, and ongoing training to uphold standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical or related engineering discipline.
• Additional training in quality management, ISO/IEC 17025 and internal auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025-compliant Quality Management System.
• Verify laboratory and field test quality against standards (ASTM, AASHTO, BS, SBC).
• Monitor internal quality control, proficiency testing, and interlaboratory comparisons.
• Oversee equipment calibration, verification and maintenance.
• Conduct internal audits and investigate nonconformities; monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare accreditation documentation for SAAC and coordinate assessments.
• Train personnel, assess competency, ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Review testing records and technical reports for completeness and confidentiality.
