Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia, supporting construction and site operations with day-to-day geotechnical engineering activity.

You will review soil data, oversee earthworks, monitor compaction and testing, and provide technical input to method statements, ITPs, and NCRs, collaborating with QA/QC and laboratories across projects. This role also involves field investigations and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of geotechnical concepts and soil mechanics.
• Experience interpreting geotechnical reports and data.
• Proven ability to prepare clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day geotechnical engineering support to construction teams and site operations.
• Review geotechnical reports, drawings, specifications, soil data, and requirements.
• Monitor and verify geotechnical works for design and project compliance.
• Support excavation, earthworks, grading, embankments, and soil improvement activities.
• Coordinate QA/QC and labs for soil testing and density/CBR assessments.
• Prepare technical input for method statements, ITPs, NCRs, and RFIs.
