Job summary

Safari Group is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations across King Fahd Causeway facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role requires directing civil, mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities, planning tasks for technicians, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

You will monitor preventive and corrective programs, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and lead emergency responses while maintaining records and driving efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of maintenance operations experience in large infrastructure facilities.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary maintenance teams with strong HSE knowledge.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily maintenance activities across all King Fahd Causeway facilities
• Coordinate civil mechanical electrical and general facility maintenance works
• Plan assign and monitor maintenance tasks for technicians and maintenance teams
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely efficiently and within the required schedule
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs and ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with contractors subcontractors suppliers and other stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects risks and maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with HSE quality environmental and project requirements
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and maintenance incidents and coordinate immediate corrective actions
• Ensure proper availability and utilization of tools equipment materials and spare parts
• Review maintenance work quality and verify completion of assigned tasks
• Prepare and submit daily weekly and monthly maintenance reports to management
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities work orders inspections and equipment status
• Support maintenance planning upgrades renovation and improvement projects
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency reliability and cost effectiveness
• Lead and motivate maintenance teams while maintaining high standards of discipline and performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in maintenance operations, preferably in large infrastructure, bridges, highways, tunnels, or similar facilities
• Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary maintenance teams
• Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance activities
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance management
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality, and environmental requirements
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage emergency maintenance situations and work effectively under pressure
• Good knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, reporting, and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems/CMMS
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance activities
• Experience in causeway, bridge, highway, or major infrastructure projects will be highly preferred
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage
