Manar Al Omran Formwork & Scaffolding Services seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead its road freight and logistics business in Saudi Arabia, with full P&L accountability. You will scale the fleet, improve profitability, and build a disciplined, high-performing team of drivers and staff, while moving operations from paper to data-driven management.

Qualifications

15+ years in road freight and logistics, incl. 7+ years as GM or senior ops leader.
Proven track record running a large heavy truck fleet in Saudi Arabia with full P&L.
Established customer network within the Saudi transport market.
Sound knowledge of TGA regulations, WASL, Bayan and Saudi government platforms.
Hands-on experience using telematics, fuel control and fleet management systems.
Strong commercial, financial and negotiation capability.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.

Responsibilities

Grow and diversify the customer base across industrial and project sectors to fill added capacity; lead contract and rate negotiations.
Price trips and contracts on a disciplined cost per km model, using backhaul planning to minimise empty running.
Own relationships with key accounts, including clients with strict safety, equipment and contractor standards.
Lead daily operations, dispatch and trip planning to maximise truck utilisation and on-time delivery.
Run a weekly operating rhythm driven by the KPI dashboard, acting quickly on variances.
Roll out and manage telematics, fuel control and planned maintenance systems across the full fleet.
Manage dealer warranty and maintenance contracts, tyre policy and fleet availability.
Make fact-based decisions on fleet expansion, subcontracting and asset replacement.
Lead and develop the existing team, and recruit and onboard the drivers and staff needed for the expansion.
Run the driver KPI and incentive scheme with fairness and consistency.
Build a strong safety culture and reduce accidents, violations and claims year on year.
Own the annual budget, monthly management accounts, cash flow and collections.
Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations; report monthly to the Chairman on performance, risks and decisions required.
