Job summary

Alfanar Group in Riyadh is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee bookkeeping and monitoring of accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy across AP, AR, and G/L.

You will supervise supplier invoicing, verify tax compliance, manage vendor relations and payments, monitor accruals and fixed assets, support IFRS reporting and external audits, and help improve processes to stay compliant with local regulations and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping and processing accounting transactions.
• Ability to supervise supplier invoice processing and 3-way matching.
• Familiarity with tax/compliance policies.
• Strong reconciliation of AP sub-ledger with vendor statements.
• Support external audits and IFRS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise supplier invoice processing and 3-way matching.
• Verify invoices for tax and policy compliance.
• Oversee vendor payments and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Monitor accruals and prepayments; align expenses with periods.
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger with vendor statements.
• Oversee customer invoicing and manage receivables.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and collect overdue payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and aging reports.
• Manage fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and disposal.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements and assist audits.
• Support budget prep and monitor financial performance.
• Improve accounting processes for compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure health, safety, and environment procedures within area.
