Nalplast in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a General Accountant with 2–3 years of practical experience to manage the full accounting cycle, prepare monthly closings, and supervise VAT compliance using Microsoft Dynamics.

The ideal candidate has a BCom in accounting, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with HR for payroll and statutory filings.

Job Title: General Accountant. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Work Type: Office-based, Full-time. Experience: 2 to 3 years. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting major or equivalent. 2 to 3 years of practical experience in general accounting. Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office programs. Familiarity with accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record and review daily journal entries and ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Review purchase and sales invoices, follow up on customer and supplier accounts, and make necessary adjustments.
• Monitor expenses, revenues, cash, and bank accounts, and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Review accounting balances and contribute to preparing trial balances, financial reports, and monthly and yearly closing.
• Follow tax invoices and VAT according to regulations.
• Record and track accounting transactions on Microsoft Dynamics.
• Prepare and review monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leaves in coordination with HR.
• Record payroll entries and follow up on advances, receivables, and employee financial settlements.
• Follow up on end-of-service benefits, leaves, and related provisions.
• Organize and keep accounting documents, adhere to financial policies, and maintain data confidentiality.
