Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a Lab Supervisor in Jeddah to oversee laboratory operations across GCC facilities. You will ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and lead laboratory teams across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong GMP/food safety knowledge, and experience with lab testing and SAP/Microsoft Office. You will drive continuous improvement and coordinate audits, with emphasis on halal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, and halal standards.
• Experience with food microbiology and laboratory testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily laboratory operations across GCC laboratories.
• Review and analyze laboratory results and report findings to the QA Manager.
• Provide technical guidance to laboratory teams and support decision-making in testing and quality control.
• Ensure laboratory procedures comply with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality standards.
• Monitor laboratory activities, maintain sample traceability, and ensure adherence to sampling plans.
• Lead and develop laboratory personnel through training and performance feedback.
• Manage laboratory administrative activities including asset tracking and procurement requests.
• Support R&D initiatives, including validation and development of new testing methods.
• Ensure implementation of corporate quality programs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure halal and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee LIMS implementation across GCC laboratories.
• Participate in budgeting, investment planning and infrastructure projects.
• Promote and enforce HSE policies and safe practices.
