Job summary

FundRock, a pan-European UCITS management company and AIFM, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant for its KSA location. The role focuses on fund accounting, NAV calculation, and ensuring AML compliance with regulatory standards.

You will support senior staff, prepare accurate reports, and maintain client relationships. The position requires strong Excel skills, proficiency in English and Arabic, and the ability to work under deadlines in a dynamic, global team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferably as fund accountant or equivalent.
• Strong educational background, preferably accounting.
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel.
• Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
• Ability to read, write and speak English & Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with fund terms, regulatory requirements and AML regulations.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Assist seniors and receive coaching as needed.
• Create required reports on time, without reminders.
• Be the contact for accounting matters for entities and client relations.
• Review offshore work for accuracy and timely NAV submission.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all work undertaken complies with the respective fund's terms and conditions, relevant regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Maintaining compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
• Assist to seniors and get coaching as needed.
• Well versed with Microsoft applications. Expertise in excel and presentation skills is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Work separately and collectively in a group as the situation demands.
• Create the required reports in time, without any reminders.
• Being the contact person for accounting matters for entities and promote excellent relationships with the clients of the company.
• Reviewing work performed by offshore teams and ensure its accuracy.
• Timely review and submission of NAV to the clients in line with the SLA signed by the clients.
• Positive attitude and team spirit is a must.
• Backup for Transfer agency functions.

Skills Required:

• Experience preferably as fund accountant or equivalent.
• Strong Educational Background, preferably accounting.
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience is required).
• Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
• An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
• Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a pressurised environment.
• Capacity to problem-solve and ability to deal with complex issues.
• A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
• Experience in the all-around process of fund administration including Calculation of NAV, Pricing, Processing of Corporate Actions, Calculation of Performance Fees, Shareholder Services, AML and KYC verifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English & Arabic proficiently.
