Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to lead FPGA and configurable logic product strategy in Huntsville, AL. You will define features, align with stakeholders, and drive release planning for mission‑critical hardware solutions.

Requires deep FPGA flow knowledge, hardware/software integration, and experience in Agile environments. At Raytheon, you’ll influence cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver robust, well‑reasoned architectures.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA design, verification, configurable logic development, or embedded hardware engineering.
• Experience working in Agile development environments or serving as a product owner, scrum master, or equivalent role.
• Experience with FPGA architectures, tool flows (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, Libero), constraints, and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the long‑term product vision and roadmap for FPGA and configurable logic solutions across multiple programs.
• Partner with senior engineering leaders, program managers, and customers to establish product strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Prioritize features and product increments based on value, risk, cost, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Drive multi‑release planning, cross‑team alignment, and resource forecasting to support strategic development activities.
• Lead stakeholder engagement to balance competing needs across systems engineering, hardware, software, and leadership organizations.
• Oversee product lifecycle management, including technology refresh, obsolescence strategies, reuse strategy, and long‑term sustainment planning.
• Facilitate data‑driven decision‑making using metrics, performance analysis, and business case justification.
• Champion organizational improvements, best practices, and digital transformation efforts within configurable logic development workflows.
