Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in At Ta’if, Saudi Arabia is seeking an Outlet Supervisor to deliver luxury-level guest experiences, welcome and escort guests, anticipate needs, and manage daily service with brand-aligned standards.

You will lead service teams, train staff on menus, upselling, and etiquette, coordinate with kitchen, monitor hygiene, and drive revenue through quality service in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality leadership role preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver luxury-level personalized service to all guests.
• Supervise daily restaurant or outlet operations during shifts.
• Assign sections and responsibilities to staff and monitor service timing.
• Ensure brand standards, grooming, and correct table setup.
• Train staff on menu knowledge, etiquette, and upselling techniques.
• Lead performance coaching and support management in evaluations.
• Promote signature dishes and drive upselling to meet revenue targets.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Experience Excellence

• Deliver luxury-level personalized service to all guests.

• Welcome and escort guests when required.

• Anticipate guest needs and preferences.

• Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.

• Ensure VIP guests receive special attention and recognition.

2. Operational Leadership

• Supervise daily restaurant or outlet operations during shifts.

• Assign sections and responsibilities to service staff.

• Monitor the quality and timing of food and beverage service.

• Ensure all tables are set according to brand standards.

• Maintain smooth communication between service team and kitchen.

• Ensure completion of the outlets opening and closing checklist.

• 3. Service Standards & Brand Compliance

• Ensure compliance with service standards and brand guidelines.
• Monitor staff grooming and appearance standards.
• Ensure correct table setup, and service sequence.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet.
• Maintain and monitor the hygiene standards as per the SOP.

• 4. Team Leadership & Training

• Conduct daily shift briefings.
• Train team members on menu knowledge, service etiquette, and upselling techniques.
• Coach staff to improve performance.
• Support management in performance evaluation.

• 5. Sales & Revenue Enhancement

• Promote signature dishes, specials, beverages & Promotion.
• Encourage and train the service staff on upselling and suggestive selling.
• Support outlet revenue targets and average check improvement.

• 6. Quality Control

• Check food & beverage quality before serving guests when possible.
• Ensure order accuracy and proper presentation.
• Monitor guest feedback and service flow.

• 7. Administrative Duties

• Assist in preparing staff schedules when required.
• Assist in making store requestion and supervisor the issuing process.
• Support inventory control and equipment management.
• Ensure POS system accuracy and correct billing procedures.
