Job summary

Alsalam Aircraft Company, a Saudi Arabia-based provider of aviation maintenance and training services, is seeking an experienced aviation operations trainer to join the Directorate of Operations. You will deliver classroom and field training, develop curricula, and coordinate flight operations activities.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in aviation operations, strong English proficiency, and proven ability to create instructional materials and conduct trainings used across operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in aviation operations, including scheduling, dispatch, or related activities.
• Qualified instructor capable of delivering aviation operations training in classroom and field environments.
• Strong English language skills with clear written communications and aviation terminology.

Responsibilities

• Work under the assigned management structure and report to the Directorate of Operations.
• Develop and implement procedures for aircraft scheduling and crew assignment.
• Review flight plans for accuracy and coordinate flight planning activities.
• Process local and cross-country flight clearances per procedures.
• Maintain accurate flight logs for incoming/outgoing flights and records.
• Interpret, monitor, and communicate relevant weather reports and weather information.
• Coordinate with emergency and crash response teams in aircraft emergencies.
• Develop, prepare, review, and update training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and documentation.
• Advise commanders and management on operational training requirements and development needs.
• Perform instructional duties for aviation operations personnel in classroom and field environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

1. Good knowledge and understanding of aviation operations concepts and procedures.


2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation operations, including areas such as flight operations, scheduling, dispatch, or related activities.


3. Military aviation experience is preferred.


4. Qualified instructor with the ability to deliver aviation operations training in both classroom and practical field environments.


5. Demonstrated experience in developing and preparing training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and instructional documentation.


6. Strong proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and database applications.


7. Good command of the English language, including proper grammar, written communication, and terminology relevant to aviation operations.
