Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in design and layout of mechanical or specialty engineering systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and national/international fire codes.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems including firewater pumps, networks, sprinklers, and kitchen hood extinguishing systems.
• Prepare design basis reports and system documentation.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and verifications.
• Prepare submittals and technical reports.
• Supervise and coordinate designers on project deliverables.
