Job summary

Electrical Voltage Technology Company for Industry in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to lead design for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The role requires strong AutoCAD and Elite Software skills with at least 5 years of Saudi experience.

You will design sprinkler and fire alarm systems, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure compliance with SBC, NFPA, and Civil Defense regulations while supporting project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of fire protection engineering experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with NFPA, SBC and Civil Defense regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Elite Software.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection and firefighting systems in accordance with SBC, NFPA, and project specifications.
• Prepare fire protection layouts, hydraulic calculations, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Perform system calculations and analyses using Elite Software.
• Design sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, fire hose cabinets, clean agent systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Review project specifications, tender documents, and shop drawings.
• Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements and applicable international standards.
• Support project execution through technical reviews and site coordination when required.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.

We are seeking an experienced strong Fire Protection Engineer strong to join our engineering team in Riyadh The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection system design for commercial residential industrial and mixed-use developments The candidate must have extensive experience using strong AutoCAD strong and strong Elite Software strong and possess at least strong 5 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia strong preferably with a reputable engineering consulting firm

Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection and firefighting systems in accordance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, and project specifications.


• Prepare fire protection layouts, hydraulic calculations, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications.Experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.Familiarity with international design standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
