Job summary

Kerten Hospitality is seeking a Finance Manager for The House Hotel Jeddah on King Road to lead the financial operations with accuracy and compliance. The role requires steering monthly statements, forecasts and budgets while partnering with department heads to optimize costs.

You will oversee cash flow, controls, audits, and financial systems (PMS/POS) in a dynamic hotel environment, including pre-opening or seasonal ramp-ups, with English and Arabic fluency valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of finance experience in hospitality.
• 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Experience with PMS, POS and accounting systems.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets and variance analyses.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies.
• Work with department heads to support cost control and operational efficiency.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and corporate finance teams.
• Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up activities including system setup and financial procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to hotel management.

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in line with corporate and ownership requirements.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to safeguard assets.
• Work closely with department heads to support cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and corporate finance teams.
• Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up activities including system setup and financial procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to hotel management to support decision‑making.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 5–8 years of finance experience in hospitality, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Experience working with PMS, POS, and accounting systems.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to work closely with operational teams in a hands‑on hotel environment.
• Experience in pre-opening or seasonal hotels is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
