Job summary

Pronto AI is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair autonomous haulage technology at mine sites across the Middle East. You will join deployment crews and travel up to 75% in challenging environments.

Role requires 3+ years as a heavy equipment or diesel/industrial technician, reading wiring diagrams, and strong communication. Valid license and readiness for remote locations are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as heavy equipment, diesel, automotive technician or similar.
• Hands-on low-voltage electrical work (12/24V DC): harness routing, connector termination.
• Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings.
• Available for short-notice mobilizations (24–72 hours) and ~75% travel.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable with extreme heat/cold, dust, altitude, shifts (nights/weekends).
• Proficient with standard business tools (email, ticketing, spreadsheets, docs).
• Independent on-site decision-making with limited support.
• Strong internal/external communication with teams and mine crews.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot autonomous retrofit kits on heavy mining equipment.
• Work on customer sites as part of deployment crew.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system health and reliability.
• Monitor equipment conditions and identify wear or environmental impact.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Provide on-site customer support and maintain professional communication.
