Job summary

GE Vernova is offering a 12-month traineeship designed to provide hands-on experience in testing, commissioning and technical support for customers across site, remote and office environments. You will engage with factories, repair centers and logistics to ensure fast response times and high satisfaction while building expertise in power systems and electrical safety.

The program welcomes fresh graduates up to 2 years of experience with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or/and Instrumentation and Control Engineering or related fields.
• Fresh graduates up to 2 years of experience.
• Electrical safety awareness and knowledge of electrical safety standards.
• Legal right to work in KSA without sponsorship or time restriction.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing, commissioning and technical support to customers including site, office and factory activities.
• Receive, record, analyze customer repair and technical support requests.
• Collaborate with factories, repair centers, operations, logistics and customers to minimize response times and ensure satisfaction.
• Advise customers on installed base data, upgrades, repairs and other technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with factories and repair centers to implement recommendations and solutions at customer sites.
• Write technical documentation including test reports, repair reports and findings.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Providing testing, commissioning and technical support to customers: This includes site , office and factory activities providing on site services, remote support, answering questions about products, troubleshooting problems, and providing recommendations for solutions.
• Receive, record, analyze customer repair and technical support requests using the software tool provided
• Work closely with factories, repair centers, operations, logistics, customers to achieve shortest possible request closing time maintain legal and commercial agreements and achieve customer satisfaction
• Working with customers to understand their installed base data, advise for upgrade, repair and other technical recommendations.
• Working with factories and repair centers to facilitaterecommendations and solutions implementation at customer sites.
• Writing technical documentation: This includes test reports, repair reports, findings solutions, and technical reports.

Required Qualification

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of Power system theory based on the fundamental principles of electrical engineering, such as voltage, current, resistance, power, symmetrical components, etc. and Power system components: the main components include Generators, Transmission lines, Distribution lines, Substations, transformers, Loads, and protective devices.
• Ability to handle and deal with different level of customers beginners to experts maintaining same respect and demonstrate correct standards and theories
• Network analysis which is the process of analyzing the behavior of power system under different conditions.
• Power system protection: this includes designing and installing protective devices to protect the power system from faults.
• Substation Automation is the process of using digital technology to control an monitor substations.
