Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Saudi Arabia is launching the Early Career Training program—a 12-month traineeship with potential extension. The ECT Control Engineer will execute HMI and MKVIe control system field activities on assigned projects, supporting commissioning and services delivery.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare design documents, validate designs during customer acceptance, and ensure adherence to Quality Procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical engineering or related field.
• Ability to understand and prepare design documents for automation projects.
• 2 to 4 years of engineering field experience.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Job Description Summary

The Early Career Training is a12-month program with the possibility of an extension for another 6 months and it is an investment in young talents where GE Vernova trains graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The ECT Control Engineer will be responsible for executing HMI (Humane Machine Interface) & MKVIe control system field activities for assigned projects, including project field tasks aligned with the services process.

• Prepare all necessary documentation.
• Validate designs during customer acceptance, check document consistency, and manage evolving customer requirements.
• Support site organization during preparation and commissioning, ensuring adherence to Quality Procedures and work instructions.
• Assist site during SAT preparations and conduct validations for successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate EHS compliance, promote Zero Deviation Plans, and foster a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure excellent service and maintain strong relationships.
