Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service APC and Uniflair cooling equipment across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will perform site visits, conduct basic power audits, document findings, and collaborate with Sales to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires hands-on electrical and electronics knowledge, adherence to safety practices, and willingness to travel as needed. You will educate customers on equipment operation and support large installation projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical - Electro Mechanic engineering with 3-5 years experience.
• Certified Schneider Electric On2cooling/ACDC/LDV/LDCV/HXCV/ Big Chiller

Responsibilities

• Perform services on APC and Uniflair chillers.
• Carry out basic power audits of distribution systems and collaborate with Sales to complete availability assessments.
• Document all required information for each site visit.
• Work with team to complete custom and large installation projects.
• Document and label defective parts for disposal/repair.
• Educate APC-Uniflair customers on basic operation and issues.
• Assist Schneider Electric Service Partners during site visits.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Read, interpret, and write technical documents and reports.
• Travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as needed.
• 7x24 field service availability when assigned.

Job description

• Perform services on cooling APC & Uniflair equipment/ Chillers
• Perform basic Power Audits of customer's distribution systems, working with Sales to complete Availability Assessments.
• Document all required information for each site visit performed
• Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects
• Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of APC-MGE equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
• Educate APC-Uniflair customers on basic operation of their equipment. Inform customers of issues which they may have experience with their equipment in a way which is beneficial to the customer as well as Schneider Electric
• Assist Schneider Electric Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High level of technical knowledge of electronic/electrical component theory.
• Must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives. Work is usually quite independent of other team members
• Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be able to communicate effectively to various intellectual levels.
• 7 X 24 Field Service availability when assigned
• Available to travel cross the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when assigned
