Job summary

Schneider Electric in Riyadh region seeks a seasoned project manager to validate the project’s SOW and contract terms, acting as the lead contact for remaining orders. You will develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and status reports, while managing risks and monitoring milestones and budgets.

You will lead a functional project team to ensure customer satisfaction and financial performance, and manage relationships with customers and third parties within the project scope.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering.
• MPA is preferred.
• PMP certificate required or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PMO tools (MS Project, ACONEX) and CPP process.
• Good knowledge of ERP (SAP) for financial control.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for validating the project’s statement of work and contract terms with customers, becoming lead contact for remaining orders.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports; analyze risks and monitor progress against milestones and budgets.
• Lead the project team to ensure customer satisfaction and financial performance.
• Manage customer and third-party relationships within project scope; execute the project per contract.
• Monitor, control and report project execution status, progress and KPIs; report to management.
• Develop customer relationships, drive communication, ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
• Direct engagement with internal manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors.
• Lead project closeout including financial reconciliation, site equipment verification, installation, start-up and training support.

Job description

• 1- Takes ownership for validating the projects' statement of work and contract terms with customers, including both technical and commercial elements, becoming lead contact for customers for remaining project orders (Project Initiation)


• 2- Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.


• 3- Lead functionally the project team to ensure full customer satisfaction and financial performance.


• 4- Manage the relationship with the customer and third parties within project scope and accountable for the execution of the project in line with the contract.


• 5- Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to management.


• 6- Develop customer relationship, drive all communication with the customer, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.


• 7- Direct engagement with the internal manufacturing facilities and third party vendors.


• 8- Lead the closeout of the project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation, start-up, and training support completion through review of internal system information, contact with the customer, and coordination with support services such as field services, after-shipment support, and training functions.
