Job summary

AIQU is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Motors & Drives / Industrial Electrification with an initial assignment in Abu Dhabi for ~3 months, followed by relocation to Dammam, Saudi Arabia for 2–3 years. You will support MV motors, VFDs, and power distribution across brownfield and new projects.

Responsibilities include equipment selection, integration, and design reviews, with coordination to customers/vendors using EPLAN/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering is required.
• A Master's degree would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work on industrial drives in the 1+ MW power range.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors; assist in technical evaluations and design reviews.
• Utilize EPLAN/AutoCAD for project documentation.

Job description

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer – Motors & Drives / Industrial Electrification for a long-term opportunity. The candidate will initially be based in Abu Dhabi for approximately 3 months and will then need to relocate to Dammam, Saudi Arabia for 2–3 years.

• Medium Voltage (MV) Motors & VFDs, including equipment selection and integration
• Industrial drives in the 1+ MW power range
• MV/LV motors, switchgear, transformers, batteries, rectifiers and AC/DC systems
• Brownfield projects involving motor-to-motor or turbine-to-motor replacements
• Compressor and pump drive applications
• Technical specifications, datasheets, SLDs, technical evaluations and design reviews
• Customer/vendor technical coordination and bid support
• EPLAN / AutoCAD

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering is required; a Master's degree would be an advantage.
