Job summary

ACWA is recruiting a Local Operator for the Nairiyah 1 CCGT site in Saudi Arabia. The role sits in Operations and reports to CCR Operator / Shift Supervisor.

The operator will monitor system parameters, assist in safe start-ups/shut-downs, and coordinate with the CCR Operator to maintain plant performance and safety. Responsibilities include following SOPs, reporting deviations, maintaining logs, and supporting training of new operators.

Qualifications

• > Diploma or Degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• <br/>Experience in Power/Desalination plants is essential.
• <br/>Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• > Monitor operation parameters and coordinate with CCR Operator to ensure smooth plant operation.
• <br/>Ensure safe start-up and shut-down of the plant per SOPs.
• <br/>Follow safety rules, report abnormalities, and maintain logs.
• <br/>Maintain housekeeping and assist in training new operators.
• <br/>Raise work requests and coordinate isolations for maintenance.
