Job summary

Acwa is seeking a skilled Operator to monitor and control unit/plant operation parameters. The candidate will coordinate with fellow operators, comply with safety rules, and document shift activities in log books.

The role requires familiarity with plant P&IDs, SOPs, and emergency procedures. Responsibilities include responding to abnormal conditions, coordinating lockout/tagout, reporting abnormalities, and assisting in training new operators.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring and control of unit/plant operation.
• Familiar with safety, EHS and environmental management system principles.
• Knowledge of waste identification, classification and disposal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control unit/plant operation parameters.
• Enter periodic readings on log sheets and document shift activities.
• Follow Shift Charge Engineer instructions and coordinate with Operators.
