GeologicAI is seeking a field technician to operate rock-scanning robots in labs and remote field environments. You will prep core samples for scanning, run and maintain equipment, and process scan data with our software to deliver high-quality geological insights.

Asa member of our field operations team, you will be operating our GeologicAI rock scanning robots helping our clients gain new geological insights into their resources. Working in our labs and/or in the field, you will be prepping core samples for scanning, running and maintaining the equipment, and processing scan data in our custom software. You'll use your technical knowledge and common sense to make sure our clients get the best data possible and will interact with client geologists to help them get the most out of the amazing data you are generating.
You have some experience or knowledge of geological concepts, strong technical skills,and the ability to work in a remote field environment. You want to work with both your brain and your hands.You are a hard worker that can keep a smile on your face for your colleagues and clients over a long shift. You enjoy working with computers and have some Exceland database experience, or even some coding experience.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science, Geology, Geophysics or Engineering.
