Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Field Engineer for the Ar Rjum Project in Saudi Arabia. You will lead construction engineering activities for electrical and instrumentation, develop work plans, inspect installations, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on a complex greenfield mining site.

Role requires deep field experience, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and instrumentation engineering, plus 10 years of progressive construction or electrical experience; or 15 years in the MENA region with regional cultural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues relating to commodity installations and work sequencing.
• Provide field engineering support to superintendents and ensure materials, equipment and quality meet design requirements.
• Develop work plans, coordinate material take-offs and requisitions, inspect installations and document progress.
• Assure procedural compliance, material control and complete documentation of inspections for completed work.
• Prepare quantity listings of field purchased material and equipment; initiate field material purchases.
• Support construction drawings and schedules; design temporary facilities and ensure as-built drawings.
• Plan and deliver construction materials and equipment and ensure proper warehousing and environmental protection.
