Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts on Ummahat Island (Red Sea) in Saudi Arabia seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations, including the building, grounds and energy systems with a strong focus on safety and asset protection.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance while supporting emergency response and coordinating with guests and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3 years in engineering/maintenance.
• 2-year degree in Building/Construction or Engineering with 1 year experience.
• HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the physical plant including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
• Lead energy conservation and cost-effective facility operations.
• Develop service contracts and administer contracts to support building needs.
• Oversee maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces and equipment.
