Responsibilities
  1. Analyzes malfunctions, Inspects, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots avionic communications, weapons control, navigation (to Include inertial and radar navigation) and penetration aidssystems and associated test equipment at the organizational level. Supervisesorganizational level avionic communications, weapons control, inertial/radarnavigation, and penetration aids systems activities.
  2. Analyzes performance and isolatesmalfunctions of integrated avionic communications, navigation, weapons control,and penetration aids systems.
  3. Operates avionic communications, navigation,weapons control, and penetration aids systems using required test and supportequipment.
  4. Analyzes equipment operationcharacteristics to Isolate malfunctions to subsystems and components.
  5. Monitors equipment performance to detectand analyze recurring malfunctions
  6. Train RSAF personnel to 5 and 7 skilllevels
  7. Maintain technical orders (TOs), publications and RSAF training records
