Job summary

Virtucruit, partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Saudi national Exploration Drill Rig Welder to build practical welding, fabrication and repair skills in the Exploration Department.

The role offers hands-on exposure to surface and underground drill rigs, working under experienced maintenance staff, with structured coaching, safety emphasis and opportunities to advance technical competency through on-the-job training at the Mine Site.

Qualifications

• Basic welding knowledge and basic measurement skills.
• Ability to understand simple fabrication drawings and instructions.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist welding, fabrication and repair work on surface/underground drill rigs and workshop structures.
• Perform basic SMAW/arc, MIG welding under supervision and procedures.
• Read basic fabrication drawings and support maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety standards and housekeeping at the worksite.
