Job summary

Want More in Mecca is seeking an Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine to lead all kitchen operations of a luxury hotel restaurant. You will design and execute authentic menus, manage sourcing, and uphold strict food safety and quality standards.

You will guide a diverse culinary team, drive profitability, and collaborate with F&B and events to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Proficiency in English is required, Arabic is a plus, with relocation to Mecca.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as an Executive Chef or similar in luxury/hotel settings.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willing to relocate to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop menus showcasing authentic Indian cuisine with local flavors.
• Oversee all food preparation, sourcing ingredients, and recipe creation.
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene.
• Manage inventory and control food costs.
• Train and supervise a team of chefs; maintain productivity.
• Collaborate with F&B, banquets, and room service for guest experiences.
• Stay updated on trends and incorporate them into menus.
