Job summary

Oasis Wellness Oman is seeking an experienced Executive Chef for our operations in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. You will lead a fast-paced kitchen, design innovative menus, and manage inventory and budgeting while maintaining top quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years as an Executive Chef in high-volume settings, strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to train and motivate staff. English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Extensive knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluent English language skills are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Nepali language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards.
• Create innovative and delicious menus that cater to a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Manage inventory, order supplies and maintain budgetary goals.
• Train, mentor and motivate kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed nights.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times.
• Develop relationships with local suppliers to source fresh high-quality ingredients.
