Job summary

EPSA Al Haytham Mining Company LLC is seeking a skilled excavator operator to join our field teams. You will operate excavators safely, load trucks, and follow site plans under the supervision of the site supervisor.

Candidates should have a secondary education certificate, a valid heavy equipment license, and at least five years of remote or international experience. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with site crews, and adherence to EPSA's environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Secondary education certificate or equivalent.
• Training in mine safety procedures.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in remote or international locations with similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret operational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform digging, loading, trenching, and material handling tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
• Load haul trucks, stockpiles, or crushers according to production targets and site requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any mechanical faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate effectively with dumper operators, dozer operators, and other equipment to maintain continuous material flow.
• Follow designated excavation plans, pit designs, and supervisor instructions to maintain grade control and stability.
• Maintain the excavator clean, organized, and in good working order through regular housekeeping and lubrication checks.
• Attend daily pre-start meetings.
• Perform visual safety checks before operating machinery and promptly report defects or mechanical issues.
