Job description

Lean enables companies to seamlessly connect to their users’ bank accounts to initiate real-time payments and retrieve their account information. Our products have garnered the trust of leading companies and enabled them to deliver powerful experiences when connected with a user’s bank account, allowing users to perform prudent financial planning, get better rates on loans, transfer money to friends, and more, without compromising on privacy or security.

Some of Lean’s clients include the likes of Tabby, Nayifat, Tamam, Circlys, and many more, making it the region’s most valuable Open Banking platform. The company has now processed over a billion dollars, and its products are also connected with hundreds of thousands of accounts. Lean envisions a fully inclusive financial ecosystem that serves everyone, no matter where they bank or live in the MENA region.

Role's Mission

Own and scale Lean’s on-the-ground events engine and Arabic-first GTM in Saudi Arabia.

You’ll lead flagship events (executive roundtables, conferences, partner activations) and drive content-led campaigns that support pipeline growth, product adoption, and brand authority in KSA.

What success looks like
  • Events: 12–16 high-quality events delivered (mix of roundtables, conferences, partner co-hosts) with clear MQL/SQL attribution and post-event follow-ups.
  • Pipeline impact: Event-sourced/assisted pipeline targets met or exceeded (commit jointly with Growth/Sales).
  • GTM velocity: Faster Arabic content turnaround for KSA launches
  • Brand & reach: Sustained growth in KSA traffic, social engagement, and partner co-marketing output.
Core responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of events: objectives, audience, venue, run-of-show, speakers, budgets, vendor management.
  • Build an annual events calendar aligned to commercial priorities and product launches.
  • Partner with Sales/Growth/PMM on invites, target lists, pre-event nurture, on-site lead capture, and post-event follow-up.
  • Set and track event KPIs (registrations, attendance, cost per attendee, pipeline sourced/assisted).
  • Manage agencies and suppliers, negotiate costs, deliver on time and within budget.
  • Translate product value into Arabic narratives for KSA: landing pages, emails, social, one-pagers, sales leave‑behinds.
  • Localize global assets and originate net-new Arabic content for KSA use cases and verticals.
  • Partner with PMM to package case studies, success stories, and thought leadership tailored to KSA regulators, enterprises, and fintechs.
  • Coordinate with Growth on paid/social assets and campaign rollouts and align with SEO where relevant.
  • Maintain a KSA content calendar tied to launches, events, and partnerships.
C) Cross-functional & Ops (≈10%)
  • Align weekly with Sales/CCO/PMM on priorities and messaging.
  • Own timelines, briefs, approvals, and QA and keep stakeholders unblocked.
  • Track and report KPIs in a simple dashboard and run post‑mortems with clear actions.
  • Operate in line with applicable regulatory standards and internal risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Native-level Arabic with excellent written craft and strong English.
  • KSA market experience in B2B tech/fintech/SaaS or related.
  • 4–6 years in marketing with demonstrable events ownership and content execution.
  • Proven cross‑functional stakeholdering with Sales/Growth/PMM, calm under pressure and strong vendor management.
  • Hands‑on with briefs, timelines, budgets, and measurement, ability to operate with minimal handholding.
  • Comfortable creating short‑form and long‑form Arabic assets, understands what converts in KSA.
Nice to have
  • Fintech/payments/open‑finance familiarity.
  • Experience with Webflow/Notion/HubSpot or similar.
  • Basic analytics for campaign and event performance.
  • Partner co‑marketing experience in KSA.

NB. While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply!!

Why Join us?

We’re building the financial infrastructure for MENA. Not as a slogan, as a fact.

Since 2019, we’ve become the first regulated Open Banking and Open Finance company operating across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We’ve processed billions of dollars. We connect millions of accounts. We enable companies like Binance, Careem, and Etisalat to build products that were previously impossible in this region.

Our recent $67.5M Series B from General Catalyst and Sequoia isn’t just validation: it’s fuel. We’re expanding into new markets, launching new products, and setting the pace for what financial innovation looks like in MENA.

We solve hard problems. We move fast. We hold ourselves to a high standard. And we’re looking for people who’ve done this before to help us do it right.

If you’re motivated by building something that lasts, not just something that scales, Lean is where you need to be.

Not only do we offer competitive salaries, private healthcare, and flexible office hours, but we also insist that every member of the team hold a meaningful equity stake in the business to ensure long‑term alignment. We'd love you to join us for this journey!

Lean is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
