We’re hiring an ESG Business Development Manager to drive growth of our sustainability and climate services while rolling up their sleeves on delivery when needed. You’ll build pipeline, convert opportunities, shape proposals, and lead light-to-moderate project work across ESG strategy, climate risk, decarbonization, and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead business development efforts such as client engagement, lead generation, RFP review, proposal preparation and pricing. Representing the company in events, public speaking, and expanding the network and brand.
  • Own a network that can secure potential clients for ESG & climate services; build and manage a qualified pipeline across key sectors.
  • Create compelling sales assets (case studies, thought leadership, slides).
  • Nurture partner channels (technology vendors, data providers, auditors, legal, PE) to co‑develop opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and promotional Presentations.
  • Deliver White Papers as required by the Head of Department.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client workshops and events.
  • Remain up to date and subject matter expert on ESG trends, software, best practices, regulations, and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Understand and implement the principles of project management (scheduling, resource leveling, effective meetings, client relations).
  • Support in delivering projects by collaborating with the team in ESG & Climate analytics, GHG assessments, ESG & Decarbonization strategy brainstorming, risk management and planning, and ad‑hoc requests.
  • Develop content for ESG reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop bespoke sustainability policies and standards that address energy, environment, water, circular economy, and climate change.
  • Develop a marketing plan and outreach.

  • Familiarity with and experience in GRI, TCFD, IFRS and similar ESG reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with and experience in GHG Protocol.
Qualifications:
  • Well‑spoken and proficient in English writing — Arabic (spoken and written) is a plus.
  • Experience in the GCC and MENA markets.
  • Willing to travel frequently with a passport that allows for travel with no restrictions.
  • 6–10 Years experience in ESG/Sustainability, Climate advisory and business development.
  • Masters Degree in related discipline (Business, Climate, Environment) is a plus.
  • Relevant Training and Certification in Sales/Business Development/ESG /Net Zero/Climate Change.
