We are looking for a dynamic, organized self‑starter join Customer Service Human Resources team as Sr. ER Specialist supporting our Customer Service (CS) Centers in China and Japan. The ideal candidate for this position has effective communication and interpersonal skills that enable them to work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee and labor relations issues and projects.

Key Job Responsibilities (Japanese)
  • 機密性の高い人事およびER(労政)問題の調査:被害/苦情を訴えている人物、証人、対象従業員との面談の実施、社内の各種システムからのデータ分析、案件の判定、調査結果に基づく是正措置の提案、調査文書の作成など
  • 案件の傾向を分析し、先回りしてシステム上の問題に対処するための戦略的な提案
  • 従業員に関する複雑な調査についてビジネスパートナー、コーポレートERチーム、法務チームとの協議・協業
  • グローバルERチームと協力し、CNとJPにおけるER関連プログラムの立ち上げのサポート

また、危機的な状況や、時間的な制約がある中で解決しなければならない緊急性の高い労政問題にも迅速に対応することが求められます。プロジェクトと緊急対応との時間配分 は、本ポジションで成功するための重要な要素です。

Key Job Responsibilities (English)
  • Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues including: conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews; analyzing data from various internal systems, case adjudication, proposing remedial action based on investigation findings, production of documentation for completed investigation
  • Analyze casework trends and produce strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues
  • Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, and Legal teams on complex employee investigations
  • Help set up ER related programs in China and Japan, working alongside the Global ER team

The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis‑oriented and can only be successfully completed within tight timeframes. Balancing time between projects and crisis‑response is critical for success in the position.

The position reports to Japan Country HR Manager for Amazon Customer Service and is located in Tokyo, Japan.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree
