Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an entry-level Field Service Operator to support rigging-up and rigging-down of surface and downhole well logging equipment. You will learn and assist with well operations, BOP procedures, and HSE guidelines at field locations.

The role involves assembling downhole logging tools, maintaining equipment, and performing basic inspections. Training will be provided, with emphasis on safety and quality protocols in a challenging energy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
• Basic reading/writing and math skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of surface and downhole well logging equipment.
• Learn basic oil well operations, rig types, drill string components, BOP procedures and HSE guidelines.
• Assist in operating well logging equipment at the job site.
• Learn to assemble downhole well logging tools (electric, nuclear, sonic, etc.).
• Maintain and clean down-hole and surface well logging equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
