Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an experienced Artificial Lift Technician in Saudi Arabia to perform installations, routine checks, and troubleshooting. You will train and mentor new hires, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support field operations with equipment maintenance.

The role requires 3–4 years of AL experience, basic math and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in an on-site field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in artificial lift operations.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Artificial Lift installations, checks and troubleshooting, and provide guidance to customer personnel on procedures.
• Conduct basic well production analysis and maintenance of AL equipment and cables.
• Prepare paperwork including IFTA, hours, and mileage for billing.
• Train and mentor new hires in fundamental principles and field safety.
• Promote safety and environmental awareness and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Maintain the truck used for field transportation and support equipment.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, the sucessful candidate will :

• Performs Artificial Lift (AL) installations and pulls, routine checks, and troubleshooting. Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of ALs.
• Performs basic well production analysis and repair of AL equipment and tests, splices, and repairs cable. Prepares paperwork to include IFTA reports, billable and non-billable hours, and mileage.
• Trains and coaches new hires in basic principles.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Maintains mechanical performance of truck used in transportation to and from the field.
• Trains and mentors lower level technicians at the well site.

Qualifications

Skills are typically acquired through completion of high school or similar education and 3 to 4 years of experience in artificial lift operations. Performs basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
