Job summary

GlobalProcure seeks an entry-level Instrument Technician for our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia operations. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of instruments used in industrial processes. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic a plus; previous experience is not mandatory.

The successful candidate will work on calibration, inspections, and safety-compliant procedures on site, collaborating with engineers and fellow technicians to ensure reliable instrument performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training or certification preferred.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and knowledge of different types of instruments (e.g., pressure gauges, thermometers).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and calibrate various types of instruments and control systems according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed including maintenance logs and inventory.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times while working on site.
