Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with Enterprise and Strategic customers in central Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. You will be a key technical advisor helping modernise legacy platforms, adopt AI, and accelerate digital agendas across government, healthcare, aviation, retail, and financial services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with Account Managers and Business Development, support long-term customer success, satisfaction, and trust through the adoption of AWS services and well-architected solutions.
• Serve as a technical advisor for enterprise customers in the Riyadh and central Saudi Arabia region, building relationships with customer stakeholders and contributing to their technology strategy.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud, including competitive migration paths from other cloud providers to AWS.
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (e.g., Dev Days, Immersion Days, Workshops, and GameDays).
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community; contribute to customer-facing publications such as white papers, blog posts, and reference architectures.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, AWS Service Teams, and Support — gathering product feedback, driving feature requests, and collaborating with fellow Solutions Architects in the region.
