Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ammeters.
• Repair or replace faulty circuit breakers, transformers and other electrical components.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines for all installations.
• Perform quality control checks on materials used for installations or repairs.
• Keep accurate records of tests performed on equipment or installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols in order to prevent injury or property damage.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages or short circuits.
