Job summary

The role involves designing, troubleshooting, and upgrading control systems, while coordinating with production teams and vendors. Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs is essential for maintaining reliable equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Implement preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Prepare electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize performance.
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Train and mentor junior electrical technicians as required.
• Develop and update electrical documentation and procedures.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and production teams to optimize processes and equipment performance.
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.

Job Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMI).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
