Al-Amal Plastic Manufacturing Company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Industrial Electrical, Electronics & Automation Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair modern industrial machinery used in plastic manufacturing, printing and packaging, with emphasis on PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, backups, and safety procedures. Strong hands-on experience and ability to read schematics are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, printing, or packaging industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider).
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs/Inverters, servo motors, and motion control.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, PLC, servo, inverter, sensor, and control-system faults.
• Maintain and repair industrial machinery in plastics, printing, and packaging sectors.
• Read and interpret Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
• Configure backups and perform parameter changes in PLC/HMI systems.
• Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and communicate with manufacturers.

We’re Hiring | Industrial Electrical, Electronics & Automation Maintenance Engineer

Al-Amal Plastic Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical, Electronics & Automation Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing modern industrial machinery, particularly in the plastic manufacturing, printing, and packaging industries.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, printing, or packaging industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, or similar).
• Experience with HMI & Touch Screens, VFDs/Inverters, AC/DC Drives, Servo Motors & Servo Drives, and Motion Control Systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial sensors, including Proximity, Photoelectric, Temperature, Pressure, Encoders, and Resolvers.
• Experience with Temperature Controllers, PID Control, Electrical Control Panels, Relays, Contactors, Circuit Breakers, and Power Supplies.
• Ability to read and understand Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing PCB and electronic board faults.
• Knowledge of industrial communication systems such as Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment including Multimeters, Clamp Meters, and Oscilloscopes.

Machinery Experience Preferred:

Candidates with hands-on maintenance experience in the following machinery will be highly preferred:

• Compressors and Auxiliary Systems

Troubleshooting & Programming Skills:

The candidate must be able to systematically troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, PLC, servo, inverter, sensor, and control-system faults.

Experience with PLC/HMI/Servo backups, program restoration, parameter configuration, error-code analysis, manufacturer software, and basic PLC program modifications is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Good technical English and ability to understand machinery manuals and technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate with machinery manufacturers and technical support teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to machinery breakdowns.
• Willingness to support shift and emergency maintenance when required.
• Strong commitment to electrical and industrial safety procedures.
