Job summary

AlRashed Food Company in Jeddah is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service bakery production lines and support equipment installation and upgrades. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and work with teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical technology background, hands-on experience with bakery equipment, and strong welding, pneumatics and plumbing skills. Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in mechanical technology or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with industrial bakery or food processing equipment.
• Strong skills in mechanical repairs, welding, pneumatics and plumbing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow maintenance schedules.
• Knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery production lines.
• Inspect, align and adjust shafts, pulleys and belt tensions.
• Carry out oil replacement, lubrication and greasing for rotating equipment.
• Diagnose and repair motor bearings, couplings and drive assemblies.
• Execute welding and fabrication for frames, guards and supports.
• Maintain pneumatic systems including valves, actuators and air lines.
• Perform plumbing works for water, steam and compressed air lines.
• Support installation, commissioning and modification of new bakery machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and food industry regulations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts records and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
