Job summary

Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company in Dammam is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to supervise daily maintenance activities, ensure safety, and coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.

You will inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, develop preventive programs, mentor staff, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Foreman or similar leadership role in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background with hydraulic system knowledge.
• Technical certification or diploma in engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with preventive and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Commitment to safety and knowledge of applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and ensure tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Manage maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with the procurement of parts and materials necessary for maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
