Job summary

Modern Mills Company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an entry-level to junior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support senior technicians in the maintenance inspection and repair of mechanical systems within milling and feed plant operations.

You will perform routine tasks under supervision, assist during major maintenance activities, and help ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment through documentation and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, machinery and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform routine inspections of plant machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Carry out basic lubrication, cleaning and minor mechanical adjustments as assigned.
• Support overhaul activities and planned shutdown maintenance works.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, observations and completed tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, quality and operational standards.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure efficient task execution.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in technical training and skill development programs.
• Adhere to maintenance procedures and compliance requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with safety hygiene quality and operational standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient execution of tasks
• Identify equipment abnormalities and promptly escalation complex or critical issues
• Participate in technical training and skill development programs
• Adhere to company maintenance procedures policies and compliance requirements

Technical diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 1 2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance is preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, machinery, and maintenance practices. Ability to work effectively under supervision and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
