Job description

Execute and oversee the electrical engineering design process for T&D projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards, in collaboration with design teams.

Key Accountability Areas

• Design & Development: Develop and deliver high-quality electrical designs that meet project schedules and standards.
• Conduct thorough design analysis and calculations in line with project requirements.
• Estimate construction costs and material requirements based on detailed designs. Utilize advanced software and technologies to create efficient and innovative designs.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate design documentation for future reference.
• Integrate health, safety, and environmental considerations into all design processes.

Standards & Compliance

Adhere to and enforce established design guidelines, standards, and procedures. Ensure all designs comply with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

Problem Solving & Feasibility

Identify and resolve design issues, proposing effective corrective actions. Evaluate project plans to assess design feasibility and identify potential constraints.

Project Management & Execution

• Manage and execute design projects within allocated timelines and man-hours (MHs).
• Continuous Improvement & Support: Continuously update knowledge of industry developments and best practices in electrical design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to senior design team members as needed.
