Job summary

Egis Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead to oversee complex airport infrastructure projects. You will lead a team of engineers, drive innovative electrical solutions, ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated MEP designs.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage design delivery from concept to construction documents, and employ BIM tools to maintain

Qualifications

10+ years in electrical design with a focus on large-scale infrastructure.
Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and related design tools.
Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes and airport design standards.
Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for airport terminal facilities, including power distribution and lighting.
Oversee compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing and architectural teams for MEP integration.
Manage design process from concept through construction documentation.
Review and approve electrical design deliverables and calculations.
Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
Ensure designs meet Saudi regulations and international airport standards.
Utilize BIM to produce coordinated, clash-free models and documents.
Communicate project status and decisions to stakeholders and PM teams.
Lead design reviews and value engineering sessions.
